Is Centeno Schultz Clinic buying fake Google reviews?

Recently I came across this review of Centeno Schultz Clinic by Teresa White. She explains how their staff wrote reviews on Yelp and Trust Pilot. Unethical?

My experience is that with regular strains, tears, and mild arthritis they can help you. But upkeep with them is a fortune. So you’ll need to decide if paying thousands a year for upkeep is worth it. I don’t believe they care about you. If something didn’t work and you have questions and email you, they will not reply. I have experienced this first hand. If they don’t like what they see for a review, they often have it removed, even if sites claim doctors can’t do that (I guess millionaire doctors can). I have also experienced this first hand. Their fees are truly disgusting and they can take advantage of the fact that most people are unfamiliar with regenerative medicine and don’t know better about the costs. One of the regenexx doctors (not Centeno or Schultz) even calls himself “Doctor Money” as an instagram account name. These people are greedy. The Centeno Schultz Marketing Manager, Caitlyn Talmadge and one of their doctors – Otono Silva – even placed two of the 5 star reviews on this site (near the bottom). “Yelp” and “Trustpilot Regenexx” have more fair and accurate online reviews in my opinion. There is something fishy about all of the non-stop, 5 star reviews.

Centeno Schults Clinic Reviews: Horrible Business Ethics

I recently came across blog posts of Dr. Centeno where he attacks his local competition in order to gain more market share in stem cell therapy in Denver. I have found 6 articles in 2019-2020 where he has slandered clinics around the Denver area. The purpose of this review of Centeno Schoults Clinic is to expose Dr. Centeno for his unethical business practices and expose the clinic’s negative customer reviews. Dozens of past patients have reported huge losses with no relief on multiple review websites across the web. Only to be pushed into the dark by what appears to be fake reviews written by the staff at Centeno Schults Clinic in Broomfield, CO 80021.

Dustin’s review of Centeno was the most disturbing one that I have found on the internet. Although, there are several others just as worse that are buried beneath hundreds of questionable reviews.

Centeno-Schults Attacks Other Stem Cell Clinics to Gain More Business

Centeno-Schults is not a clinic, they are a business that runs a factory like stem cell clinic. In the last year they have attacked 6 competing Clinics with negative articles on their blog. This tactic is often seen by unethical business owners who try and push out their competition and create more growth for their own business. Christopher J. Centeno, M.D is the author of the several posts below attacking their local competition.

It is safe to say that Centeno-Schults Clinic’s sales have skyrocketed due to their slanderous attack on their competition. As a reader and/or potential patient, would you call this ethical behavior from a Medical Doctor?

Let me first start off by saying that I have never been spoken to so rudely before in my life by someone on the phone. I was told that any information that I needed is on their website AKA don’t waste our time on the phone. When I started to ask about the procedures and how it worked they told me again that everything is on their website. I will not be going here.

They get zero stars but you have to leave one to leave a review

I found Centeno-Schults Clinic but be more concerned with making money versus doing the right thing. I saw Dr. Christopher J Centeno MD a few months ago. They first of all charged my insurance $1900 for a 45 minute visit, I have to pay $500 of that. Then, well of course they can help me with my knee, as well as my ankle. After I got an MRI they wanted to charge me again for MY test results. I have NEVER had a doctor charge me for MY test results.

Because of the billing fees, I got a second opinion from a well known ortho group in the Denver area, who is known doing stem cell as well. They said it would be a total waste to do stem cell on my knee because it is so torn up from sports and life that treatment would give me a couple of months of pain relief at best. But Centeno assured me they could help, no conversation of surgery, for the cost of $6500 to $7500ish. I strongly suggest getting second opinions before letting Centeno do anything to you!!! They will take your money but after that no guarantees. Many of the reviews comment on a rude staff, I would call them more robot like, they aren’t in it for good bed side manners or true patient care.

The cost explanation at Centeno Schults Clinic was very misleading. I was told that insurance would not cover the procedure and that I had to pay in full up front. I agreed. Then a month later I received a bill from the clinic for an additional $700. I called the billing department and was told that this was the amount remaining that insurance would not cover. I explained that at the time of scheduling, that insurance was not an option. The representative said ,”she has had several clients confused about this. The billing manager refused to adjust the bill. My wife and I have been patients of Dr Schultz for many years and think he’s great. But this is very disappointing and we won’t be going back. They need to train their people better.
